Evaluation of The Effect Of Antioxidant-Rich Fruits Against Depression Induced By Dexamethasone In Rats.

This research investigated the effects of watermelon, carrot and mango fruits on the lipid and lipoprotein profile and biochemical oxidative stress markers in rats treated with Dexamethasone to induce depression. Results from this study showed an improvement in the investigated profiles and markers indicating that the antioxidants found in these fruits can reduce oxidative stress.
